Christina Gagnier is a community leader, small business owner,
former school board member, and privacy advocate
defending Orange County and Inland Empire families.

Christina Gagnier was born and raised in the Chino Valley, growing up as the kid of a small business owner and a public school employee. Throughout her life, she has been active in giving back to Inland Empire and Orange County students, business owners, and veterans, helping them succeed in the classroom and workplace. Her commitment to public service comes from her own life experience.

When Christina was just six years old, her father was diagnosed with cancer. She saw how hard it was for her family to navigate our broken health care system. After her father passed away when she was just 12 years old, she saw how hard it was for her mother to support the family on her own.

Christina worked several jobs to pay her way through college – she sold clothes at Macy’s, cleaned tanning beds, worked the night shift at hotels, and stocked shelves at retail stores.

After graduating from UC Irvine, Christina worked full-time while earning her law degree from the University of San Francisco. After passing the Bar, Christina started her own law firm in the aftermath of the 2008 global recession with just $60 in the bank and found her first client on Craigslist. Ultimately, she grew the firm into a successful small business with a focus on privacy and technology law, becoming a forceful advocate against online bullying of children and exploitation of women.

Christina served as a member of the California Attorney General’s Cyber Exploitation Task Force, was designated as an expert on cyber exploitation for California’s Commission on Peace Officer’s Standards, and served on the board of Without My Consent, a national organization dedicated to empowering victims of online privacy violations. In these roles, Christina worked with law enforcement, educators, and school administrators to develop curriculum and train personnel to better protect women and children from exploitation, harassment, and online bullying. Through her legal work with veterans, Christina helps our nation's heroes obtain their benefits and ensure their access to vital resources.

Beyond building a successful legal practice, Christina has been focused on helping Inland Empire and Orange County students succeed – from kindergarten through higher education. In 2018, Christina was elected to the Chino Valley School Board where she partnered with labor unions to create career programs, developed a program with the Chamber of Commerce to create job fairs and internship programs, and started a dual immersion language program and a new bioscience academy. And now, for nearly a decade, Christina has taught at UC Irvine’s law school where she helps the next generation apply their learnings from the classroom into real-world experience. One of the highlights of Christina’s career has been becoming a member of the University of California-American Federation of Teachers union.

In 2023, Christina founded Our Schools USA to empower parents to get involved with their local school boards and fight back against extreme right-wing efforts to hijack our school systems. Our Schools USA now has chapters in over 40 states, and has helped elect pro-public education school board members across the country.

Today, Christina also serves as the Chair of the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce where she has focused on workforce development, connecting employers with job seekers, and opening an entrepreneurship center. Thanks to her hard work, local small businesses were able to access resources vital for their survival.

Christina’s entire career has been about standing up to bullies, and bringing people together to deliver results for the region she has always called home. That’s why she’s now running for Congress. Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and their MAGA loyalists are systematically dismantling our federal government -- stripping resources from vulnerable people and undermining the rule of law. They are attacking women’s rights and lining their own pockets at the expense of hard-working Californians.

In Congress, she’ll fight back to protect our families, protect our local small businesses, protect the right to make our own private medical decisions, and stop Donald Trump’s assault on our country.
